Just thought I'd share this for anyone in the area. According to the website, this Saturday (June 20th) there will be multiple LSAs on display at the Denton AirFair & Airshow. Looks like a good list of performers too.

I'm going to try and make it.

I sat down the other day to post a follow up and got pulled away from the computer by the kids. Anyways, the airshow was pretty good, some T6s, T28s, a P40 Warhawk, F/A-18, couple of Pitts aerobatic demos, and Coast Guard Helo demo. It was one of the shortest airshows I've ever been to - less than two hours of flying - but I couldn't complain b/c it was HOT outside!

I talked to Justin for a while about training and really liked him - the only drawback is that its over an hour from my house. I guess I could go knock out some blocks of time on Saturdays though.

The price is pretty reasonable - $134/hr for plane and instructor in a Remos. My problem is that I really like the old taildraggers, so I'm still looking for somebody that has one available for instruction.

But more than that, I want to fly so I'll settle for a new SLSA if I have too
