| This plane has potential to be amazing. I love flying the Remos, and can't imagine how much fun it will be to fly on floats. I would hope that eventually they work their way down to flight schools for rental. Any performance specs or is it just coming out now? |

| actually, when i took the picture the floats had been installed 10 days earlier. so there hasn't even been any flight testing done yet. but im told that within 2 months the hours will be put on the floats and us dealers will know more about it. |

Thanks for the info. I'm totally looking forward to hearing more on this. It looks really good. Hopefully, those floats don't weigh too much, and the useful load stays right where it was, or just slightly lower. A LSA with a 575+ useful load on floats would be amazing. |

| After looking around for a while, I've came to the conclusion, through your pictures and my EAA sport pilot magazine, that the floats are Downwind Technology Shark Series. So, according to their website, the floats would weigh in around 200 pounds. That is the typical weight, including all spread bars and all of the mounting hardware. So, by the time you add the 110 pounds MTOW increase, and the weight of the landing gear and struts coming off, I'd be that useful load is going to drop somewhere in the neighborhood of 65 pounds or so. Still, it looks amazing. |
