hey all,
a friend is looking at a high-max and has ask me to fly it home for him. i have not looked at the plane, but understand it is a single seat taildragger. ( sort of a mini cub) i intend to help him do the pre-buy,maybe a taxi test or two, and if all pass's muster fly it the 50 miles home. the tailwheel doesn't bother me (600+ hours of tailwheel in varied aircraft from cubs to pitts) however my friend has 0 hrs tailwheel, and i know nothing of these airplanes. one pilot at the local airport says they are squirrely both on the ground and in the air. does anyone here have any first hand experience they would share about these planes?
