I think that this is probably the first real delivery, not counting the one that went to the Cessna CEO's wife.

Finally, another Skycatcher has been delivered! If you check the FAA registry, there are 10 Skycatchers produced (or at least registered without being produced yet).

The FAA database is a registration record. Once serial numbers are assigned by a manufacturer, they can then get an FAA registration assigned.

You can also look at that same database to determine if the Airworthiness Certificate has been issued yet. That can only happen after an airplane is an airplane with a DAR signoff.

Having said that, Cessna may very well have 10 in-country being modified at Yingling with the spin recovery mods.
