Hi,
I just bought a 1947 7BCM. I was wondering if there is a published POH for it. From my own research I do not think there is.

departure stalls in CTSW
I find when try to get the CT to power on stall, especially solo, I practice transitioning from slow flight and when I get to 15 deg flaps, use about 4600 rpm and just keep the stick back. I keep the wings level with the rudder as the ailerons are basically useless once approaching the stall. With m...

Have to just suck it up and put them up to speed on what I need to get the ticket, it seems everyone is confused at this school, what a turnoff. yozz I have same problem. Most GA instructors ...

Re: ah fargo
Fargo, how can I forget Fargo. The Roger Maris museum, being from NYC, this was a big kick for me as I remember his quest to hit those 61 hrs. The Mantle Maris days, wow. Man, those were the days, and when I came upon Fargo on little side trip, saw all the Maris stuff, was in Yankee Stadium heaven....

Another choice is that you fly with your Instructor to the checkride airport and then get an endorsement to go solo there for the checkride. We used to do that here when a DPE wouldn't/couldn't come to us. Honestly, as a CFI, yours should be willing to make the trip with you, and only in my opinion...

Well Dakota Aviation sold their CT so now my only option is to finish with him if he is willing to fly down to Brooking SD with me. Probably will cost me the down payment on my own plane if he charges me 50.00 per hour waiting time. I will do some calling of leads I got from ctflyer and see my other...

James, The prep just changed from 3 to 2... BUT, who is going to sign you off for your checkride? I think you are going to need to have your current CFI sign you off for your checkride ( so the prep needs to be with him) and then do what ever you need to do to get with the DME.. I do also think tha...

Yozz, Your not alone on this. I am going though the same type of issue. I know more of the regs than my cfi. He has been a cfi for 30 yrs and also flew for a major airlines but he is not motivated. Just look at some my posts and rants ( I use these forums to vent also and never am disrespectful towa...

I have gone the SP route for similar reasons. There is no way I would risk a denial or deferrment. Once you get deferred it can take a year to get your medical or a special isssuance. I don't think its a good time to risk a deferral as they will be way backed up with this new rule. I would suggest i...

Re: Instruction
Hi James, I think with what I know about your situation it may be less frustrating and tense to drive and stay. I agree 100% Roger. I just need to do a little checking on Dakota Aviation and also see if they agree to it. They apparently have a new CTLS. The more I read, the more I find out how wron...
