Glad to see that i'm not the only one sailing in the boat.... exactly in the same shoes as you'll in the forum - bouncing around schools & instructors, burning up the money and going no where - its extremely frustrating - we forget what we learn and hate to repeat the same with new schools/instr...

well, given the way some flight schools rips the students off, its not surprising to see few people travel miles to get their training done.....

why go to far away airports when you have few schools in NJ itself?

out of curiosity, how many hours you had on your logbook for your checkride?

that must be hard on you 'gmohr', but great to see that were determined to complete your training - cheers for that.... i feel some flight schools are lacking professionalism, unfortunately, they do not realize their actions hurt general aviation industry and discouraging the aspiring pilots...... t...

Just hang in there...... i went through a similar ride.......i joined a flight school referred by my colleague.. after 3 classes, my CFI tells that 65hours is average to earn a sport pilot cert, imagine how long thats going 2 take.... having fear for the costs involved(for 65 hrs) i switched to anot...
