Re: Senate passes pilot bill of rights 2

I don't see any mention of it in the links in AvWebs stories. Are your feelings clear on this matter?

AOPA or EAA report it?

ETA: AOPA is reporting it on their home page.

Re: Can't see SportPilot's posts

Wow. Didn't realize it was an explosive topic. I wish I recd this level of response to my other posts! There are no LSA to rent within 30 min of my home. I have small kids, so even an hour R/T driving is a stress, and that's before you pre flight etc. With the PPL I flew at night when the wife and k...

Re: When Did My Third Class Medical Expire

I know this thread is a few weeks old, but I was wondering if people honestly believe PBORIIwill pass, or if that's sarcasm? AOPA forum and the POA board seem to think it has no shot. And the latest version still requires your physician to put in writing that you're safe to fly, right? I doubt that'...

Can't see SportPilot's posts

Whether I'm logged in or just browsing, I can't see some posts, like SportPilot's show up as ". . . "

Why is that? Nobody here knows me to block me yet. Just curious. I see his responses when others quote him in their response.

Does this exist?

LSA with stick, tail wheel, xpndr and radio for $25-30k? I think a Champ could be perfect, but I'm with the mode C veil at ORD. No electrical as LSA Champ, right? Dreaming a bit. Also - how come there is no active partnership aggregation site? It would be awesome if there was a trade a plane or cont...

Re: Pilot's Age

I believe the 65 rule you're referring to is related to the airlines. Either an ATP regulation/limitation or ALPA rule? Not general aviation.

Re: Legal Night Flight w/o Medical?

Thanks all. It's weird, to me. There are LSA at Aurora (KARR - towered airport about 1:20 from me). And there is a Bushcat at Galt (10C - about 50 minutes North of me). I would have thought, near Chicago, there would be numerous rental opportunities. I haven't found any clubs with LSA in the area. I...

Legal Night Flight w/o Medical?

I've been lurking here a long time. I'm a ppl with 3 kids under 9. I haven't flown in 4 years, but most of my last 100 hours was at night. I flew at night so I wasn't taking time from the family (I'd go when they were asleep). I would love to get back up.aviation is my passion and I let it go "...

Re: Air Park living on the cheap

Congratulations! That is pretty exciting to read. Are those pictures after you moved in or while you wer e looking? I'm new here. I was curious if those were your planes.

Enjoy! Sounds like a great find.
