A class D airport essentially becomes a class E airport when the tower is not in operation. That doesn't change even if it is under class B airspace. Class D Airport Operations Question

When flying out of a Class D airport after the tower closes, is it to be treated as a non-towered airport? Even though the Class D airport is beneath a Bravo shelf?

My flying club in Las Vegas has a pair of GXs that I've flown. Really nice planes and I'm a big fan of the Rotax 912. I ended up buying a CTLSi simply because I think they look better and have a better support network. I've had the plane three months now and absolutely love it. Not an exact comparis...
