I started the forum in February of 2006. It has grown to become the largest forum for sport pilots and light-sport aircraft. Hi Tom - Probably just a sign of the times. When the economy tightens up, luxuries go first. You can find some great deals on boats, motorhomes, and probably (although I haven't looked) airplanes! At least oil is dropping like a rock. That should help fuel a turn-around (no pun intended). Gerald :ro...

Finally, this airplane will bring down the cost of flying. Website estimates that you can complete one for $50-$55k.

Remember the old saying: If you want to make a small fortune in aviation, start with a large one! I think you will find that insurance is probably the biggest impediment in implementing this strategy. Think about it: insuring a bunch of expensive airplanes being flown by people with very little expe...

Admin... could you add the tag "CTSW", as ct2k is old name and few, if any, are in the US.
Done. Found 2 new videos.

If you guys can come up with new keywords airplane manufacturers, etc. let me know and I'll add them to the video search.

Thanks

Thanks for the comments.

Interesting topic but I guess you have to draw the line somewhere. The weight limit probably has it's rationale in the idea that the bigger the airplane the more damage it can do coming down. You don't need a drivers license to ride a bicycle or a moped. So why do you need one for a motorcycle? Rega...

That's great news. Your website has lots of good information under "Links." However, there is no link to SportPilotTalk.com! Can you add one? A few pictures of your fleet would be nice too!
