rudder question
Would an aircraft that requires only slight rudder pressure during maneuvers have more rudder authority during a spin than say one that requires lots of rudder during normal operations? Just somethin that popped in my head at work today...

I agree with studying it all because it will help you understand the big picture. Aviation is lifelong classroom and trying to take shortcuts may be detrimental. As far as other books, I would definitely get the flight maneuvers, test prep, and far/aim...basically, you might want to consider getting...

Ok, update time. So as I posted in my re-introduction I've been gone for a while and left the forum right before my checkride. Well I'm pleased to announce that I successfully passed! Although it was back in the end of September '09 still thought you should know. It took three tries to get it done.....
