Not exactly a flying dream, but I dreamed that I passed my FAA 3rd class medical last night so I can fly as a private pilot or something. But then I woke up and said to myself that it was only just a dream.

Have you considered gliders?

I'm currently training for sport pilot license, airplane rating, but yes, at one point or another I watched tons of glider videos on Youtube and thought to myself this would be very fun, and yes I would like to learn to fly gliders someday.

edit: No, I never even applied for a 3rd class medical so sport pilot is still an option for me. But gliders is in my opinion an excellent alternative for people who want to fly whose their medicals had been denied. From looking at tons of glider videos on Youtube in the past, it sure looks like a ton of fun.

I have received a third class medical on two occasions, but did not want the hassle this time. For the flying I want to do, the SPL is just fine. I may try gliders one day as well.
