Sport Pilots in Virginia

Post by ChristianWelch3 »

Hello was just wondering if there were any sport pilots in Virginia specifically the Shenandoh Valley area. I fly out of KSHD and just passed my checkride a week ago. Was just seeing if they're any other Va Sport pilots out there.

Nice photos!

What is that hanging from the suction mount on the far right of the windscreen? I couldn't make it out on my phone.

Beautiful pictures Jim! Glad you had such a great trip!

In my opinion this shows how sport flying can so fulfilling and rewarding.

I was at Hickory on Saturday for my BFR. Did it in the Cub Crafters Sport Cub as my RV-12 is down for a replacement Voltage Regulator.

Got a great workout with Brandon doing a bit of everything including landing at short grass strips in the area and trying my hand at 3 point landings!

Weather was good and the view of the Blue Ridge was nice especially with changing leaf color.

How were the Autumn colors on your trip? Still thinking of quitting flying? Maybe this is what you needed!
