I got it from Tesla since I already have one of their cars. The battery is pretty expensive but its capacity is better than most other batteries for a similar price because they mass produce them in house for their cars.

If you don't get a lot of outages and you live somewhere that is net metered (you sell back power to the grid at day for the same price you buy it from them at night) then there's no reason to spend money on the battery. But where I live I would be making almost nothing selling back the power so better for me to store it in a battery for use at night.

I used to spend up to $500 a month on A/C during summer but now I'm getting paid nearly 50 a month!
