Light Sport vs. Lufthansa Airliner

Post by ussyorktown »

So the story goes (once upon a time)

Planes were lined up and a light sport and a Lufhansa airliner both figured that they were next in line.

Tower: "Ok, who goes first."

Light Sport Pilot (in German accent) "ja voll, let my little buddy go ahead of me."

Seen jets taxi over roadways many times. TPA and LAX are two recent examples...

The Boeing factory up at PAE has to move their new planes at night since they cross a large busy road with them... something about seeing a plane moving while missing some parts might alarm motorists not realizing what was going on.

I remember going north on a coast road in San Diego. The Navy closed off the road and a plane taxied from the west to the east and then we were allowed to drive again.

Why do you drive such a shitty looking car? Answer: I only use to drive to my airplane.

Cars as such a nuisance. So many people die in them every year. They are noisy. We should ban General Autombility.
