Xair Nose rim failure

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

Xair Nose rim failure

Post by Cub flyer »

Anyone out there with an X air check your rims closely. Heard the outside of the nose wheel broke apart on my old one. No hard landings just came apart. Hub and spokes were ok. It is a one piece cast wheel assembly.
