Filing 337s

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

Filing 337s

Post by Doss79 »

Hello,
I am looking at a Cub with a recent fabric recovery job for possible purchase. I bought the FAA CD of all the documents for this airplane and noticed that a 337 for the fabric recovery was never filed.

Is this something that can be easily fixed? Or, is this a huge deal breaker when buying an airplane?

Thanks.
