Nosewheel cub video

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

Great vids showing the performance of one kind of plane on two different landing configs. Do you have any vids of the nosewheel cub in the bush? Would be very interesting to see. Also, it appears the mains on the nosewheel plane have not been moved rearward at all. Are the mains in the same location on both planes?

The nosewheel cub uses the same mains just installed backwards. It moves the gear back a few feet. Stock cub mains are under the wing leading edge. Backwards they are about center chord.

I'm putting the tailwheel back on today. Have a student who wants 25 hours block tailwheel time. I might take some video before I convert it back on a couple sidehill strips. No problem even if soft because you can hold the nose up till it almost stops. If it is real soft I just sit in the back seat.

The first vid link is cancelled. Now it's on this one.

I tried reuploading it to get better quality. No real change.

Had to edit one landing anyway. He was getting a flack from the family.
