Interplane Falcon - any knowledge or experience?

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

Interplane Falcon - any knowledge or experience?

Intrigued by this, and a good-looking example is for sale on Barnstormers.

Anyone with knowledge or experience of this type? Thanks in anticipation!

I have no knowledge or experience. But 2.8gph? Kinda hard to trust that number.

I kept real close track on my first CT for 100 hours by the Hobbs meter, and my average fuel burn was 3.5 GPH. That was doing mostly flight training, with a few trips mixed in. So I could believe 2.8 on a long average, especially if they were flying at lower power settings just cruising around.

Well, the statement of 2.8 GPH at 75% power is patently absurd - the Rotax manual will tell you that - but the seller probably intended that to be an average fuel burn for the way he/she files the airplane. Nice looking airplane!

I’m still intrigued and interested, but wary of a machine that nobody seems to know anything about!
