I'd still have the seaplane instructor sign you off for the BFR. Shouldn't cost any more and moves your renewal date by 1 month.SportPilot wrote:Getting my flight review Wednesday in a C172. Had I known I would be signing up for the seaplane endorsement, I would not have scheduled the flight review, but I'll go ahead with it. I don't like to cancel out on people.
You didn't say food was involved. That changes everything!SportPilot wrote:I hope not. I am looking forward to it. I'm also flying the SkyCatcher from Lake Norman (14a) to Downtown Greenville (GMU) tomorrow for a burger.Merlinspop wrote:Maybe Mother Nature will do it for you.SportPilot wrote:Getting my flight review Wednesday in a C172. <cough cough pictures cough cough>SportPilot wrote:This is all working out nicely. We cancelled my flight review for today due to winds and turbulence. The Sport Pilot SES add-on to my Commercial ticket will meet the requirements of a flight review. Should be lots of fun.
But only if the CFI gives you a flight review logbook endorsement. Don't forget to ask for it.SportPilot wrote: The Sport Pilot SES add-on to my Commercial ticket will meet the requirements of a flight review.
Exactly. DPE ride automatically counts. CFI proficiency check can count, if so logged.SportPilot wrote: Maybe you're saying since it's a CFI endorsement and not a DPE ride, you need to log a flight review.
