Hi Guys,
Finally took the plunge and signed up for training at US Flight Academy (KDTO). Will be training in a Remos G3. Doing the weekend warrior thing, hopefully the weather will be nice on weekends so I can fly. 1st lesson was fun, but way to short.
I was surprised how touchy the controls were on the Remos, I barely moved the stick and that thing would respond. Are all airplanes that touchy?
Can't wait for the weekend, come on blue skies and sunshine.
Having fun at KDTO,
Robert Lewis

No, all airplanes are not. Some of us prefer more responsive controls though!!Z06 C5 wrote:I was surprised how touchy the controls were on the Remos, I barely moved the stick and that thing would respond. Are all airplanes that touchy?

you'l be ok
You'll be fine, enjoy it, but make sure the instructress has a good hand on the stick, don't want any over control.
oh, yeah, almost forgot, if you're a geezer, don't take viagra or see alice before the flight, you don't want cramp yourself.
