Hello from South Africa (for now)

Post by Etienne »

Hi all

I hail from the Southern part of the Dark Continent... I own a Citabria (officially a type X-242 Airbatic, according to the paperwork), which was completely rebuilt almost 10 years ago after an altercation with a tree or two.

I have a PPL, and about 230hrs experience. So far my luck and experience buckets are about level, so hopefully will not run low on either too soon!

There's a possibility of me moving to the USA, so I'll be asking a few basic questions and advice over the next few months.

Other than that, I'm an electrical engineer, working in a bank, and spending most of my free time involved in aviation-related pursuits.

Now, about those basic questions... :D
