Hello from Cincinnati, Ohio. Rotorcraft CFI, Aviation Author

Post by Barnstorm »

Hello Everyone!

My name is Tim O'Connor.

I am in Cincinnati Ohio. I hangar at I69

I own a Twinstarr Autogyro and my wife owns a 912 Interplane Skyboy.

I am a Rotorcraft/Gyroplane CFI, Advanced Ground Instructor and Sport Pilot fixed wing.

I make my living in IT (computer networking).

I published my first book a few months ago ( You Can Afford To Be A Pilot ).

I also write articles for the EAA, Rotorcraft Magazine, Powered Sport Flying and a few other publications.

I am looking forward to participating in the discussions here and promoting sport aviation in any way I can.

Hi, Tim. It's a pleasure to meet you.

I've been a fixed-wing guy for the past 50 years; always been curious about gyroplanes. I look forward to your active participation; I'm sure I'll learn a lot from you (and maybe will find a way to get myself checked out in those machines).

In connection with my previous life (academia), I've been fortunate to have Ralph Taggart as a good friend and colleague for almost four decades. You're probably familiar with his Gyrobee design.

Welcome aboard, Tim!

Safe skies,
Paul

Wow! Ralph Taggart!

You are very fortunate!

I will be happy to answer any and all questions about gyros!

If you get around Cincinnati or one of the PRA conventions in Indiana or Florida let me know and I will give you an intro lesson.
