Played with the neighbors sim a couple of times, I had a heck of a time getting my chair and monitor screen to go into a 45 degree bank !!

Of course my ears didn't pop on desent, so that was a good thing, didn't even feel any bounce on a little too hard of landing.

It has been stated quite sometime back by the FAA that they had no intention of permitting those who lost their Medical, to obtain a Sport Pilot Certificate, using only their Drivers Licenses ! I am surprised by the number of complainers continuisly bitching about this. If they are serious about get...

Remember;
You have to be signed off as being prepared,by a Ground School - Instructor to take the Written test !

You just can't dittie-bop in and take the test , without a sign off.

4th Class Medical

This should clearly explain this RUMOR, never having any basis of fact ! !http://www.faa.gov/library/reports/medical/fasmb/editorials_jj/sportpilot/ Remember to obtain a Sport Pilot Certificate you have to self declare our health status. ( Of course NONE of us would LIE, would we ? ) The Canadians d...

The last report I had, which was some time ago, there were over 40 flying in Europe.
On the Web, there are some movies, one showing a Sirius TL-3000 towing a glider.
It is also certified for floats, however I know of none actually equiped.

If I May: eah - that's the guy. I find it really hard to believe that the one guy who showed up for his checkride not even knowing the limitations of the Sport Pilot license was real. Remember it's a teaching movie/DVD. What do you suppose happened to the instructor who signed him off ! I understand...

nd these low wing LSAs, like the SportCruiser and others, with their forward opening all glass canopies ought to be banned in my opinion. Flip over on landing and you either get crushed and/or trapped with no way to get out, and with fuel potentially leaking from the wing tanks not a happy thought. ...

According to the specs at http://www.pilotmix.com/index.php?pgid=11&lang=en&maxInfo=954, the cruise speed is listed as 122 kts. Since the LSA rules limit max cruise speed to 120 kts, I conclude that the P2008 would NOT qualify as LSA. _________________I have seen several sites that say the p...
