how would this affect sub part h instructors without a medical? would the "for hire" get us?
i gave up years ago trying to outguess the feds.

so just to mess things up a little more, if the sport training is done by an instructor (say a CFII-MEI) who has decided to teach at the sport pilot level, who does not have a medical, do THOSE hours count if they decide to go for the PPL?

would a BFR given by a CFI-I / MEI without a medical, (but with a current CFI and bi-ennial review) in a LSA count as a BFR for the PPL to operate standard catagory aircraft?

i didn't know where exactly to post this, so i thought i'd try here. seems i read or heard some where that they (the feds) are looking to increase the max take off weight for light sport aircraft. does anyone know anything about this or is it just a rumor?
