Thank you for the concern and I am doing just fine, well other than the fact that my business has continued to grow and I am busier than a 3 legged cat covering up poop. You know what they say about money and toys right? When you aren't making money you can't afford the toys you really want, and whe...

I wish they would offer the ability to gain an endorsement for night flight. Not likely to happen, unfortunately. Consider that there are a good many Pvt, Comml, and even ATP pilots out there with lapsed medicals, now exercising Sport Pilot privileges. These folks certainly had night training (so n...

I meant pack a shirt to change into afterwards lol. The shirt tail shirt may get framed :D Mine got framed! But no need to bring a spare shirt, the flight school where I trained gives the new solo pilot a free t-shirt (with logo of course) to wear after his solo ride so your shirt tale can stay for...

I believe that carrying passengers is not an endorsement, but rather a currency issue. You must have made 3 full stop landings in the past 90 days to have currency for carrying passengers. As for carrying logbook or copies, I always carry my actual logbook with me. I use MyFlightbook.com on my Iphon...

I also agree that night time VFR is much more dangerous than day time VFR. The inability to clearly see the terrain makes a huge difference in an emergency situation. With that said, I have said before that I wish they would offer the ability to gain an endorsement for night flight. I would think 5 ...

That's a great point Helen! For me, I work 6 days a week and can only fly on Sunday's, weather permitting. I am 45 yo, flew one day a week and only transitioned two planes. I still managed to solo in 12 hours but promise that it was the instructor that made the difference. I am average in abilities ...
