Cessna Skycatcher out for FSX

The Flight 1 version came out a few days ago and looks fantastic. I'll be downloading today. I have the other version from Abacus I think, and it's terrible.

I earned my SP license this past July at age 47. Started in February and I tell everyone it's the best thing I've ever done. I'm sure many here know "the feeling" you get when wheels leave the ground and you're in the sky. Nothing compares! I can't think of anything that has given me a gre...

What rpm do you pull back to at the numbers at what speed do you cross the numbers? That's the real question. It took a lot of time in training to get this right. Through the first half of pattern work, I was ohigh and fast every time and doing power off approaches. I finally told my CFI I wanted t...

I trained in and fly the 162 and find that 53-55kts is where you want to be to produce the most consistent landings, with full flaps in light winds. Vso (37) x 1.3 is 48 kts and we found it a bit too slow. 58-60 is ok just be ready to be patient cause it will float a bit.

First off, how do you like that plane Bob? Here's the thing about plane pricing from a new sport pilot that has no expertise in the field. LOL I am a finance guy though, so I don't consider myself totally ignorant to what's going on with the plane market. I've also been talking to as many plane owne...

Bob,

I took a look at Seth's Eurofox last month. Saw you did some maintenance. I think he has it priced too high. He's trying to sell it for approximately the same price it sold for new in '06. :?: Nice looking plane.

I'm in a similar position except that I just recently became a SP in July. I'm DYING to own a plane, or more precisely, become a partner in an LSA. I rent a SkyCatcher for $125/hr. It's been down for a month with a "door/latch" issue and not being able to fly for the last few weeks is kill...

Hi Jack, Finally got in the system but unfortunately there's not many LSA listings in my area. There's just one about 50 miles away, an Evector Sportstar. I'm looking for a high wing but the financing on this plane would be fantastic, $4900 down, $220-270/month fixed cost. If this was a CT, Remos or...

Dang, I hate being just average  but Paul's graph is right on for me, 47 years old, 15.5 hours to solo. This was out of a non towered field. Getting ready for the airspace endorsement next month.

Hi Jack, Don't get me started with that partenrship progam. I signed uo over a month ago, and still can't get that account activated. I've emailed AOPA twice already and they get back to me and tell me the account is activated, which it is not. VERY frustrating!! I'm going to try again right now. Th...
