Re: Bought an Ercoupe
Congrats on the Ercoupe, it's a beauty! I'll 2nd the good Dr. and recommend you join the EOC too. There is also a good FB group and a tech email list that is very helpful. Keep us posted on your progress and enjoy that Coupe - I love my 415-E!

Re: Sad news, Happy news.
Eddie - you happy with the doggy ear muffs? The Ercoupe isn't that loud and I figure the dogs would just shake them off. What was your experience?

I used to rebuild Jet skis as a hobby. It looks just like a Sea Doo starter for the 580 motor.

Ercoupe / C172 air to air
I’ve had the opportunity to do some loose formation flying in the last few weeks. Here are a few shots from a Father’s Day flight up over Fall Creek Falls with my son in the Ercoupe and his girlfriend and family in a 172. Re: Short 47 sec video fly over for a Graduation
Nice tribute David. We have three 2020 high school grads in the family, one school did a COVID outdoor graduation in a soccer field with all the required spacing and even a mask section. The other school has postponed the ceremony until late July. It is tough for the grads to have ended with remote ...

Both of our Australian Shepards seem to enjoy flying with us. They just jump in the baggage compartment and off we go!

My friend's 1946 O-200 powered 415-D Ercoupe. He bought it to learn how to fly, I help keep the flat spots off the tires every now and then.

Re: Currency in an Ercoupe
Just a quick follow up: The non-current pilot ended up buying the Ercoupe after two drips down to AL, one for a pre-purchase and one for a test flight - I assisted with both. The CFI I had in mind was a bit short of the 25 hours in type to meet the open pilot clause of my policy. But, the new Ercoup...
