Hi. May I ask, when a service bulletin for an aircraft is complied-with, when does it have to be put into the engine log book? Or if?
Thanks

Re: Switch S-LSA to E-LSA?
Im glad to hear such good things. it is not my area. im trying to learn. So.... In considering switching to ELSA, i should look at cost. Insurance at Falcon (EAA) goes up $300 a year. LSRI Good enough. Allegedly value of plane drops some If stay as SLSA Save on insurance but incur cost of hiring ann...

Re: Switch S-LSA to E-LSA?
Different op limitations... A man at FSDO warned me ELSA op limitations would include restriction that i would be required if forced landing to be able to glide to landing without hazard to persons or proprrty on ground. Of course we would always love to do that but accidents do happen Thats one rea...

Where is Rotax 912 ULS Serial Number?
Where Serial Number on the Rotax 912ULS? I swear, that little dickens has been eluding me. I heard it was below and between Cylinders #2 and #4, but the only thing there is the molded-in word "Rotax." So it's probably nearby peeking out at me between fins or behind a hose, but I'm not seei...

Re: Propeller?
Yes, I'm thinking I"ll just go ahead, for now, and stick with the Woodcomp, replacing it when needed, rather than the upgrade to the Sensenich. Maybe if I win the lotto, I'll upgrade.

Re: Switch S-LSA to E-LSA?
I have been thinking about this, and my thinking is that I may leave my SportCruiser as an S-LSA. There are multiple reasons, but chief among them are implied value of airplane and more restrictive operating limitations of the Experimental, for the same aircraft. So I'll see, but that's where I"...

Re: Propeller?
Hi all, I'm new to the Sport world. I have flown T.C.'d airplanes all my life, but I've bought the SportCruiser in an attempt to save money in the long run. The plane is good, but I don't know if the saving money part will work. I asked my dealer, here in the U.S., about just changing the blades on ...

Propeller?
I have bought a SportCruiser, and it has the Woodcomp propeller on it.
Someone told me the Senenich 3 blade is a better propeller, as I'm told the Woodcomp doesn't last.
Ideas?

Switch S-LSA to E-LSA?
Okay. Hi all, I have bought a SportCruiser, an S-LSA, and my thought was that I would switch it to an E-LSA so that I may get an LSRI and do own maintenance (as experimental) and annual CIs (as LSRI), etc. Reason? Cost savings, and I like the "Experimental" on the side of the plane... I'm ...

Re: Your Callsign--How do you announce yourself?
I just bought my SportCruiser last week and flew it into my tower airport. Yesterday was the first time I flew it much around the airport, and it was left closed pattern. It's an S-LSA, so far (considering switching it to E-LSA, see other thread). I always identified myself as "SportCruiser...&...

Re: Your Callsign--How do you announce yourself?
Hmmmm.... Okay. Hmmm... (Thinking: chin on hand, brow creased. Thoughtful expression.) I fly out of a tower airport, but it's not so large that controllers won't learn most of the aircraft well, as well as pilot capabilities. I've enjoyed, several times, a controller calling on me to do something di...

Parking at Oshkosh
Hi again,
What if you have an S-LSA and re-register it as E-LSA. Then, as an experimental LSA, where do you think you might be parked at Oshkosh when you fly in?

Your Callsign--How do you announce yourself?
Hello everyone, I thought I'd ask how folks announce themselves to ATC or FSS when they call up. :) I hear different things from folks, out in the real world. Sometimes they say "Light Sport..." Sometimes they say "Sport...." Sometimes they say type aircraft, such as "Kitfox...
