Hi Keith, I attended the 3 week LSRM class in 2015 and I was very happy with the school and I thought all of the instructors did a great job.

Re: EAA Sport Pilot Academy
I checked into the EAA sport pilot academy when they announced they were going to have it. Unfortunately they said they can not take students who weigh 200 or more lbs.

Re: LSRM-A Training
I attended the class in 2015 and I was very happy with the course and instructors. They do not include the rotax sevice class like Rainbow aviation does but they are about half the cost of rainbow aviation so that was ok. I had already attended the Rotax service and Rotax maintenance classes at lock...

Re: Written Test Question
Come to think of it, it did seem a little strange that their web site didn't list prices or show specific aircraft. I got caught up in a similar scam several years ago. A broker sold intro lessons, and then contracted them out to flight schools near the customer's location. I gave several flights, ...

Re: Written Test Question
In other words, their website lies? It was not even a flight school. I could here a room full of people in the background trying to sell training packages over the phone. I asked where they train at and he said "we train everywhere", give me your zip code and I will see what we have in yo...

Re: Written Test Question
Thanks for posting the link. I called the number and he tried to talk me into going to Indianapolis for a private pilot license. He said there is nobody in this area doing sport pilot training.eyeflygps wrote:http://www.skyhighlouisville.com/sport- ... sville.php

Re: Written Test Question
I took my written test this morning and this question was not on it. There were several other questions that were worded just as poorly in my opinion. About 1/3 of the questions I had not seen in the ASA or Gleim test prep material. The proctor that administered the test told me he thought they chan...

Re: Written Test Question
Anytime Lift > Weight, the aircraft will climb. This can get very complicated very fast. Here, it's more accurate to say, "Anytime Lift > Weight, the aircraft will accelerate upwards". Thereafter, the forces will again balance, but with the airplane still climbing. I think. Like I said, i...

Re: Written Test Question
Thanks for the replies. I agree the question is very poorly worded. I guess I will go with B if I get the question on the test. It seems like quite a few of the questions are poorly worded. I do not think they are doing a good job of determining your understanding of a subject if the question is wor...

Written Test Question
Greetings I am studying for my sport pilot airplane written test. I am using both the Gleim book and the asa test prep software. There is 1 question that is referenced in both where they have different answers as correct. Here is the question and possible answers. What is the effect of advancing the...
