I flew behind a 582 for a good bit until it put me down the second time. The first time was a lower rod bearing failure at 270 hours (just under the 300 TBO). The second time I had a fuel delivery issue on take off (engine sputtered). I am not interested in flying behind a two stroke any more howeve...

Having been using my PP to fly as a Sport Pilot I don't want to try and get a new 3rd Class medical. Just bought a LSA eligible plane I'll stick with flying as a SP. I know of others who are doing the same

+1 on light stream if you don't use an equity line. 3.24% for 3 years and said before, they aren't a lie holder. You sign that you use the money for the indicated purchase.
