Hello, All (again)
Having moved from California to NC, I am posting my re-introduction.
Still not flying, but hoping to change that soon.
Cheers!

Re: Hello from Raleigh NC
Hello from Apex, Papayoung I too am a private pilot turned Light Sport. Also rusty, but looking to change that. I visited Wings of Carolina flying club yesterday, dropping in on their monthly cookout at KTTA. The club seems nice, and the airport looks great. That said, they have no LSAs to fly, so I...

Re: San Francisco from Land's End
Ok, so I know I am getting to this thread late, but just in case you still follow it, I had to mention I also worked at the Blue Cube (2nd floor). Following its closure, moved to the Lockheed campus in building 195D (and others).
Cheers!

Sorry to cancel, but an unforseen, and unavoidable issue came up. Was truly looking forward to Paul's seminars.

Re: SF Bay Area Pilot
Stan, Much respect for your uncle. Its difficult to imagine someone, having made one combat jump, would volunteer a repeat, let alone making three! I was present for the 50th anniversary of the invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1996; visiting Sainte-Mere-Eglise. I stood on the drop zone as veteran WWI...

Re: 2019 Sport Pilot Expo - Who's Going?
Hello Shawn,
Let me know when you get to Sebring, and lets meet in person. Aside from researching the LSA aircraft, my plan is to attend the seminars that Paul Shuch is giving Thursday through Saturday.
I'll PM you my contact info.
Cheers,
Kurt

Re: SF Bay Area Pilot
Stan, I am pleased to meet you online, and hope we get to meet in person in the future. I am already very encouraged at finding helpful fellow pilots on this forum; and more so knowing that we might actually meet (a rare thing on Internet forums). I just signed up for three seminars that Paul Shuch ...

Re: RV-12 For Sale $59,900
A year later and this RV-12 / Viking remains for sale. It looks nice, so I contacted the agent (first checking the Viking site). The Viking web page shows mandatory parts replacements required for the 110 (flywheel, idler pullly, etc.) They no longer sell the model 110 engine. The agent advised that...

Re: SF Bay Area Pilot
What do you know? I was viewing a webinar about LSA Documentation on the EAA site, and was delighted to discover the speaker was none other than our own "drseti" - Paul Shuch! The webinar was very informative - I look forward to catching Paul's seminars at Sebring next month! Documentation...

Re: SF Bay Area Pilot
Thank you, all, for the kind welcome!
Paul, I live in San Mateo now, but have flown out of RHV in San Jose most of the time. I have landed on the grass strip at 1C9 in a Cessna 152 and a Beechcraft C23 Sundowner. Small world!
I will look for you at the seminars.
Cheers!

SF Bay Area Pilot
Greetings, all Private pilot turned Light Sport for med reasons, I am looking forward to getting back into the air after a 5 year hiatus. I attended Air Venture in 2018 to view the LSA airplanes, and will likely attend Sebring in January 2019. Anyone else going? My screen name is short for "Com...
