Yeah, that's why I'm leaning towards KSNA. It has plenty of covered spots and it's a great airport to fly in and out of with lots of LSA, few gusts, a very smooth controlled flow of traffic etc. There are at least two Sling 2's there right now including a Sling flight school/trainer.

KSNA KFUL KLGB
Looking for 1 or maybe 2 partners to share ownership of a new LSA to be based at a covered tiedown at KSNA. Other considerations would be KFUL or KLGB although they dont have any available covered spots. Planned plane choices: Sling 2, Sting S4 2020, or Flight Design F2.

I have flown the Aerotrek A240, CTSW, Sting, and Sling 2. The A240 was the simplest to fly and operate, and although it does have the floating problem on landing this was not much different than the CTSW and Sting.
