Re: Takeoffs and Landings in non-LSA towards passenger currency
It’s cheaper for me to fly with an instructor in a rented Cessna 150 then it is to fly solo in a rented LSA by two dollars which is crazy. He has logged the time in my logbook as dual received and PIC. Looking at the FARs, if they wanted to prevent sport pilots from logging PIC in non LSA aircraft t...

Rotax 912 filled with green coolant
So my new to me plane (Evektor Sportstar) has green coolant in the system. From what I was told it was previously drained and filled with green automotive antifreeze.

52 or 51mph max stall
I found a plane I want to buy. It’s a ZENITH 601 XLB with a lycoming 235. I asked the guy for the specs
Max Gross: 1320
Landing Configuration Stall, 45mph
Clean stall 52mph
The FARs say max clean stall of 45 knots. 45knots = 51.7mph
Will I have any problems flying and ensuring this plane?

The EAA is willing to make the plane airworthy and sponsor a long term loan for the members. We need at-least 5 members for the EAA to go through with helping us create this flyin...

Hello from Georgia
I'm currently a student with 40 hours currently working on scheduling my light sport check-ride. I did my training on a Remos GX and Remos G300 at SimplyFly in Chicago, Illinois. Had to leave because of the pandemic. Now I'm in Georgia and have been flying the SkyCatcher at KGVL. I recently flew in ...
