JWAviation in Bolingbrook IL (1C5) used to have a P1, though I'm not sure if they still do. Might be worth a call anyway. I know at the time, all of the factory repair manuals were in Portuguese, so you'll also have to account for that.

Well, western 'burbs in any case. I started off the normal PPL route, then long story short, found SPL might be a better fit. I did a quick intro flight in a Remos out of KARR and MAN was it fun.
