what's lacking in bringing the community and local airports together. it's hard to get people interested in aviation unless they drive out to the airport. some people don't even know were it is.
how can we make local communities and pilots at the airport closer. from kids to seniors.

Getting the public and aviation closer together?
At my airport only people with badges or people escorted by someone with a badge are allowed on the ramp. In practice, this means that because of the security setup in the office area, to use the rest rooms you either must have a badge or be accompanied by someone with a badge. Now, isn't that special?
