Once I complete my Sport Pilot License for regular airplane what are the steps to add weight-shifted trike, seaplane or gyrocopter to it. I read you only need to do 10 hours with an instructor and they sign off on your log book and you get the endorsement? It this true?

There are no minimum hours however you need to be able to meet the PTS standards for that aircraft category and class. You will train under one instructor and then take a proficiency check from another instructor.

Helen,
That seaplane checkout doesn't qualify as a flight review, does it, like it would for a private/commercial pilot (ASEL) getting an ASES?

If you take it at the private or higher it does, but not at the sport level since there is no FAA checkride. There's nothing saying though that after you complete the proficiency check you can't do an extra hour of air and ground training for the flight review though.
