Good experience renting in Phoenix

I could do this under Pireps but I believe these fine people deserve special recognition.

As previously reported, I am travelling, temporarily deployed to SW AZ. I have made a couple of trips up to Phoenix to rent and fly.

I'd like to give a shout out to Falcon Executive Aviation and their Sport CFI David L.

This is an incredibly professional operation that seems to have been here, at Falcon Field (KFFZ) for quite some time. They have a Skycatcher for rent at $115/hr.

David L. was my CFI for my checkout. It took two sessions but I got 'er done. He was patient, calm, and knowledgeable. He's not an overly large man so we managed weight and balance to fly appropriately. I am 240lb so we flew with 1/2 tanks.

KFFZ was interesting because it is a Class D under a Class B (KPHX). Very interesting.

Falcon and David receive my strong recommendation.
