Density altitude sucks. But then, when I do fly down to lower elevations, it's like I just uncorked a supercharger under the hood.

There is a really nice property for sale near my house with a new hangar, separate garage/workshop, on two acres. Just a short taxi to the runway. A steal at $497k! Ok...so not a steal, but it's nice. Another one two houses down, newer, cheaper, but with no hangar, yet has a large area of cleared land next to it ready to go. Come on down! Er...Up.....whatever. :mrgreen:

I joined my local EAA chapter and will be getting involved in that soon. Perhaps that network will offer some solutions.
