Removing the rudderless Ercoupe "curse" from license?

Constructive topics of interest related to aviation that do not match the other section descriptions below (as long as it is somewhat related to aviation, flying, learning to fly, sport pilot, light sport aircraft, etc.). Please, advertisements for Viagra will be promptly deleted!"

You can say that again!

Well, I am happy to report that I was finally able to get a check ride to remove my rudder pedal(less) Ercoupe license limitation. An intrepid DPE in MD was willing to risk 4 or 5 landings with me with a few forward slips allowing me to demonstrate my rudder prowess. Log book endorsed, waiting for the paperwork to wind through the system to get my new plastic :D

Just one question. Was the DPE able to find a way to remove the restriction via IACRA, or was a paper application required?

In answer to Paul's question, the DPE understood he will have to submit the 8710-11 manually, and I paid accordingly - happily! I am enjoying a whole new re-birth in my flying enjoyment. Now if my daughter will just let me have the plane back -- :?
