Home Airport

Post by JJ Campbell »

I just changed my home airport a couple of days ago. I distinctly remember some official or semi-official Website asking what my home airport was and what the contact number for that airport. I have checked the usual suspects but I can't find this question in any of the user profiles.

Does anyone have an idea of what the heck I'm recalling?

I do have a 406 as of a few weeks ago. Thanks, I hadn't thought of that but it is not the much older thing banging around in my noodle.

JJ, I'm sure your insurance company needs to know this.

Not as critical but do you use any of the online flight planning software? You usually set your default or home airport with them also.

800wxbrief.com asks for the information for filing flight plans. You can save it in your profile there.

Sigh, that is the first place I looked but I went to my user profile instead of the aircraft profile. Duh! Thanks.

Rates can vary significantly based on home airport.
