Fountain pens in an aircraft?
Does anyone here who is familiar with fountain pens know if they tend to leak if they're brought up to altitude?

Are you practicing your calligraphy skills when the autopilot is on? I keep a pencil in my plane because they always write and never leak.

I have been using computers for any sort of typing for so long I am afraid I can’t write anymore ... I got to find a pen and give it a try one of these days ...

I have a pilot friend that almost exclusively writes with a fountain pen. I suspect he carries one while flying.

I use a Fisher Space Pen while flying. It always writes (unless it runs out of ink) and has never leaked.
