Sport Pilot Certificate With Past DUI, DWI, Reckless Driving etc.

Hey guys glad to be here but not so glad to bring up this ugly topic but looking for some advice. I am interested in obtaining my Sport Pilot Certificate. I have already finished ground School, passed my written and scheduled my flight training. I did research before starting to hopefully get confirmation that my past trouble (Dui Charges) would not stop me from obtaining my Sport Pilot Certificate. Upon my research it appears I should be ok but wanting to get confirmation from this community.
Now before I get hounded I take full responsibility for my past actions and Accept that I was being stupid in my younger years and not making responsible decisions. I was pulled over twice for DUI and eventually convicted of reckless driving alcohol related along with reckless driving. These were almost ten years ago. I have since never been arrested and drinking is no longer part of my life.
Fast forward to now I really want to get my sport pilot license. I just want to fly for fun. I currently do hold an airmen certificate (UAS Certificate) which I got a few years ago so I could use my Drone for work purposes no problem. I'm hoping that these past convictions won't affect me from getting my sport pilot certificate as well.
I know some of you may not want to publicly respond to this so I am open to anyone who had a simmiliar background or experience to message me? I just want to make sure I'm not gonna have a issue when I get done my training.
Thanks everyone for the help and happy flying!
