Cessna, Cub Crafters & Flight Design '12 Shipments Published

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

Cessna, Cub Crafters & Flight Design '12 Shipments Published

GAMA has just published its 2012 Aircraft Factory Shipment report. In addition to Cessna, Cub Crafters and Flight Design are now reporting their LSA shipments to GAMA for both 2011 and 2012. Here they are:
  • Cessna: 2011 = 168 - 2012 = 19
    Flight Design: 2011 = 89 - 2012 = 76
    Cub Crafters: 2012 = 40 - 2012 =57


For Flight Design and Cub Crafters these are only their models that comply with ASTM specifications, in other words their LSA's.
