TL Ultralight Stingsport

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

It shouldn't take to long, I would guess no more than an hour, and likely much less. If you know anyone familiar with glider rigging you could ask them for help. The process is very similar to how many modern gliders are assembled.

I have a 2006 Sting Sport and I do the stabilizer inspection every other annual. It's not difficult and takes an hour or so when you include the time needed to re-caulk. It is easiest if you have a helper to help lift and position it.

I use GE II silicone, as the manual recommends. I get the white exterior (door and window) caulk.
