Arion LS-1 Lightning

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

Did you fly it before and after the mkii tail? If so how do you like the difference?

Yes, I did. The Mk1 horizontal stab was very, er, “sprightly”, and demanded absolute attention. I sneezed and bounced us off the straps. The MK2 tail provides a solid feel, and part of the mod is changing the bellcrank position to reduce overall travel. Arion quit shipping ANY MK1 tails years ago. This mod pretty much balanced the control forces.
