Rans S6S

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

Anyone here have any "scoop" on the Rans S6S? Anybody have one or has had one? I'm contemplating buying one.

I own and fly a RANS S-6ES, and love it. There are several different S-6 models that use the "S" at the end, so it would help to have the serial number to discuss in more detail. I did LOTS of research before purchasing mine, because the S-6 kits were in production for a LOOOONG time, and changed significantly over that time. If you'd like to talk more about it, feel free to call me at 214 four nine eight 96 three nine. I'm recently retired, and love to talk airplanes!
