"B" fix to CH 601 XL from 2006?

Hi All - factory built CH 601 XL, built 2006: was that after the "B" wing mod? FAA registry says it was built by AMD in 2006, as a Light Sport with a cont. 0200. It looks nice, decently equipped.

Oops - ignore me - search here found a reference to 2010 when the fix was announced.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the FAA deemed all CH 601 XL aircraft to be non-airworthy until the "B" wing mod was completed.
If true, by now there "shouldn't" be any flying that haven't completed the "B" wing mod, as they "should" fail their annual condition inspection if it is incomplete.
With that said, I put should/shouldn't in quotes, because I suppose anything is possible.
