Great vid!

Saw your ballcap -- were you SF? Know two West Pointers (both graduated in the mid 70s or so) that became SF officers and retired out as O-5s.

Thanks!

Negative on that--just wear that cap when I want the punk kids around my neighborhood to think there might be some heavy weaponry aboard. (Actually, that cap has a nice bill that helps prevent further massive sun damage to my gnarly face!)

Fantastic video. So surreal that it looks like flight simulator!

Rich may not be Sierra Foxtrot, but he's most certainly Sierra Hotel!

Thanks (again), Rich - very enjoyable. Seeing your comment about wanting to do more of this, I really would encourage you to become familiar with the RAF. Perhaps chat with one of the CA liaisons to see what events similar to your trip they may be cooking up. (Just go to the C's here: http://theraf.org/team-raf-staff/4 ) I know that Rick Lach recently got USFS approval to begin reclaiming 3 or 4 airstrips not far from Sequoia National Forest for public use, down to your south in beautiful country. Right now we're opening up the airstrip on Fox Island off the UP in Michigan. Imagine landing and having an entire island to yourself!

For you and anyone else who likes the idea of air camping to interesting destinations a bit off the beaten track, just flip thru our latest newsletter - http://theraf.org/sites/default/files/R ... l%29_0.pdf - and you'll see what we're doing all around the country. Joining is free. Just click on the 'Join Team RAF' link, left pane, home page.
