Great video! Just wondering, is it perfectly okay for one plane to start to takeoff while the other planes are already on takeoff roll on the runway and already lifting off? I thought you have to hold short until the other plane took off and is on initial climb out?

Maybe it is only okay if you are in formation flying?

A little confused on that.

Pre-arranged on the ground formation takeoff (flight of 3) - each plane is side-stepped left and right of center in formation. # 2 doesn't go till air is under the tires of 1#, etc.. Also a wide runway. Radio is from the lead ship announcing flight of 3 ...
