Sedona air-to-air photos

Post by Scooper »

This past weekend I flew from Santa Rosa, CA to Sedona, AZ for some air-to-air photos by well known aviation photographer Jack Fleetwood. The weather cooperated for the trip and Jack took some awesome photos during our 45 minute formation flight Monday evening, Veteran's Day.

Those are amazing photos Stan, thanks for sharing. I've wanted to do something like this also but use the Florida coast line as the backdrop.

Thanks, guys! For decades I've wanted to get a few good closeup air-to-air photos of myself by a professional photographer at a scenic venue, and this opportunity popped up a month ago. Jack Fleetwood is a real pro, and I jumped at the chance to have him take these pictures. These first two are low resolution previews of a number of shots he took, and I'll be getting all the high res images in a week or so after he sorts through them (there were about a dozen of us from all over the west who scheduled time with Jack over a four day period in Sedona).

Shawn, low level photos just off the Florida beaches would be awesome!

Over the years I have done 3 professional air to air photo shoots with EAA. The latest is in the most recent Vintage Airplane.
